For numerous reasons, on this blog I tend to gravitate towards the tiny and curious and adorable. I would understand if someone got the impression that I preferred country houses to skyscrapers, barns and fields to busy streets, quiet to noise, and leisurely drives to sidewalks. And I am extremely fond of those things. But I think that's because they will always be slightly exotic to me.
Cities, though, are my comfort zone, my natural habitat, my instinctive home. Luckily Hartford is here to remind me of that.
